Cooler Security Advisors, LLC has years of experience providing security consulting for touring bands as well as providing personal protection. CSA can assist with creating tour laminates and passes, coordinating band transportation and conducting security briefings with both venue security and local law enforcement. Planning the arrival and departure of band members and management, monitoring meet and greet sessions, controlling budget with outside security companies and providing a safe event for both the patrons and the band & crew.

CSA has extensive experience in planning, developing, and in providing leadership for special events and transportation throughout the U.S. and abroad. They have worked with numerous major label recording artists on tours world wide.

• Tour Advancing
  • Gathering of required information electronically (venue maps, insurance information, dressing room information, etc.)
  • Emailing of tour advance documentation (security required, advancing band arrival, proper barricade, etc.)
  • Communicating with the head of the venue and security to discuss proper security measures and proper resources are in place prior to tour arrival.
• Site/Venue Set up
  • Day of show, walk through with heads of venue and security to make sure the tour advancement has been followed to tour requirements (security in place, proper barricade, parking for the band)
  • Placing pass boards in key location of access point to insure that security is properly informed on tour credentials.
• Security Coordinator - Can work with all aspects of the team, from the Production Manager in making compromising decisions of what is required to put on a good show – vs – what is safe for the band and the patrons. Working with the personal protection security team and band assistants, in providing detailed information on the security measures in place to make sure the band’s arrival and departure is safe and well coordinated.
• Evacuation Plan - As recently learned due to unfortunate incidents, having an evacuation plan in place is key in patron/crew/band safety. An evacuation plan is sometimes overlooked and with the majority of events, it is not even used. However, not having a procedure in place could result in injuries and even deaths, which could have been avoided. CSA works with police, fire, and medical to make sure adequate staffing is in place dependent on the size and type of the event. CSA will also work with the venue/event coordinators to verify there are sufficient evacuation routes available for patrons, crew and band. The routes are verified to be adequate in size, free of blockage and doors are able to be opened. The evacuation plan will be discussed and reviewed in a meeting, and the plan will be distributed to all departments assuring everyone is aware of the emergency procedures.
